Features of the tall toilet

The Convenient Height toilet model is not just tall. It has several exciting features that’ll make using a toilet so much easier. Here are a couple of them:

1. Safety and Compatibility

Since it is tall, the first impression people usually have is that the toilet won’t fit in small bathrooms and tight spaces. However, this extra tall toilet is compactly designed. It measures 27 x 15 x 35 inches, and unless you have a minimal bathroom space to work with, this two-piece toilet can be placed in any bathroom.

Having a tall toilet like this model can raise safety concerns for a few people. However, Convenient Height put this in mind when designing the toilet. The toilet eliminates virtually all the inconveniences and safety risks that come with using a standard or low toilet.

2. Design

This is perhaps the best feature of the Convenient Height model. It is an elegantly-designed toilet that comes in color white to match any bathroom it is installed in. The bowl, seat, and toilet height are all carefully designed so that anyone can use it conveniently. You can also expect not to have any flushing or clogging issue when using this 20-inch toilet.

The Convenient Height toilet also offers comforts to its users with its elongated bowl design. It has a stabilized base, so when it is installed correctly, the toilet should not rock. The compact and elongated shape of its seat makes sitting on it comfortable for a wide range of people. The toilet also has structural reinforcements with its high load-bearing capacity.

3. Flushing System

If you’ve struggled with the flushing system of your current toilet, then installing this 21-inch tall toilet (when measured to its seat) will make things easier for you. It has a tower flush valve, which ensures that a high velocity of water is used in every flush. This high force allows the easy ridding of waste from the bowl.

The Convenient Height toilet, unlike many other standard-height ones, uses a dual flush mechanism, which makes it water efficient. But even in the large flush, it uses less water than a standard toilet, which makes the toilet EPA WaterSense certified.

Its trapway is also very wide, and that ensures that a large mass of waste is removed easily from the toilet.

4. Corrosion resistance

The sturdy design is one of the fantastic features of this toilet. However, any toilet that isn’t made from a corrosion-resistant material will need to be replaced often. The Convenient Height toilet features a corrosion-resistant plastic handle that without rough-handling, should last for several years to come.

5. Ease of Installation

This tall toilet is one of those that you can install entirely on your own, but we do not advise you to do that. Convenient Height recommends you outsource the installation to a professional plumber who understands the workings of a dual flush valve. Even when it is done by this professional, it’s a fairly simple process.

6. Warranty

The toilet is produced by a truly reliable brand, which is why a 3-year warranty on its components is provided to users. The warranty protects against any defect in the chinaware material and workmanship.

What we liked about the Convenient Height Toilet (Pros)

  1. It is water-efficient: You don’t have to waste water if only a small mass of waste needs to be removed from the bowl.
  2. It is comfortable to use: When sitting, your legs should be at 90 degrees, but this can be a real problem for tall people. The 20-inch toilet bowl solves this problem excellently and allows anyone to comfortably sit, whether you’re tall, sick, or disabled.
  3. It uses a slow-closing seat: You don’t need to slam the seat of this toilet before it closes. Its seat was designed to close as quietly as possible.
  4. The toilet is durable: It will last for years to come because it is made from a sturdy and corrosion-resistant material.

What we don’t like about the Convenient Height Toilet (Cons)

  1. The toilet only comes in white: At the moment, Convenient Height does not make this toilet in any color that isn’t white. This is a bit limiting if you want your toilet to blend with the color of your bathroom.
  2. The toilet’s handle is made from plastic: It’s a nice handle, but eventually, when a lot of force is used in flushing, it’ll break. Instead of plastic, we would have preferred if it was made from brass or any other strong metal.
  3. The toilet is not for everyone in the house: It’s not a general-purpose toilet, and kids cannot use it.

How is the tall toilet delivered

Since its bowl measures 20-inch, extra care has to be taken when transporting this toilet to its destination. But not to worry, Convenient Height puts this factor into consideration. When you order for the toilet, it’ll come in two separate boxes:

  1. Box One: The first box contains the toilet bowl. It is protected by double foams, with the first layer made to fit the shape of the bowl. Double cardboard is also used to ensure that it doesn’t break in the process.
  2. Box Two: The second box contains the toilet tank. Again, it also comes with two layers of foam and cardboard protection.

How to clean the tall toilet

Most people think that the tall toilet is difficult to clean because they imagine that it’ll come with a standard toilet brush. But this is not true. Not only does the Convenient Height toilet come with its brush that makes it easy to reach in and clean, but it also cleans up faster.

Here’s how to properly clean your Convenient Height toilet.

  1. Get ready to clean the toilet: You must grab everything you need before you begin so that you don’t waste much time. A couple of things you’ll need are;
    1. Toilet brush
    1. A toilet cleaner
    1. Paper towels
    1. Rubber gloves
    1. Nose masks
    1. Disinfectant

The rubber glove you decide to use should be only for cleaning the toilet. You can buy them in a unique color so that you never confuse them with other rubber gloves you use around the house. Also, any other toilet brush that isn’t the one made for the Convenient Height toilet may not be any good for you.

  • Apply the toilet cleaner on the sides of the bowl: Spray the toilet cleaner very close to the top of the bowl. Make sure that it doesn’t dilute until it’s on its way down. Also, remember to scrub the inside of the rim. This is one area that is usually forgotten after prolonged use of the toilet.
  1. Scrub the toilet’s bowl with a brush: The toilet brush should be firm and bristled so that it can remove the dirt from the toilet. Use it to scrub the bowl, paying attention to stains that may accumulate at the back and along the water level of the bowl. Remember that the more thoroughly you wash, the cleaner it becomes.
  2. Clean the handle: People rarely clean the handle of their toilet, and this is an area that can get filled with bacteria over time. Use a disinfectant and a couple of paper towels to give it a good wipe.
  3. Clean the toilet lid and body: Once the bowl and handle are completed, the next area to focus on is the tank lid and the body of the Convenient Height toilet. We advise that you do not use a rag because they can breed germs. The ideal tool to use is a paper towel. But if you must use an old toothbrush, make sure that it is disinfected and clean.
  4. Lastly, flush the toilet. The toilet should look better than before after washing it. If it doesn’t, then you should get a stronger cleaner or use the same one and clean it again. Do not throw the paper towels in the toilet because they can clog it.

Also, as aftercare, make sure you wash your hands immediately after removing your gloves. Small water from the process may have splashed into your gloves.

What’s the difference between a tall and a standard-height toilet?

From this review so far, you probably can already guess them. But, here are a couple of differences between standard-height and tall toilets anyway:

  1. Many standard toilets do not meet the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) recommended height for toilets. However, virtually all tall toilets meet this height set by the ADA.
  2. Standard-height toilets have good flushing systems. But you’ll get a faster and better flushing system in tall toilets.
  3. Standard-height toilets are designed for average-height people and can be used by children. However, tall toilets are made for the elderly, disabled, or tall people, and not for children.

Resolved concerns of the Convenient Height Toilet

Any new product will have a couple of concerns when it gets released. The Convenient Height toilet had a couple of issues initially, but they have now been resolved. Here are some of them:

  1. Handle concerns: A lot of customers complained about the handle of this toilet, and Convenient Height has responded by producing a stronger one to go with the toilet.
  2. Shaky water tank: This issue occurs only in two-piece toilets. A shaky tank is caused when the connecting gasket of the tank is not correctly installed, thereby pushing the tank from its bowl. To solve this problem, a rubber gasket should be placed through the bottom hole of the tank to allow for proper connection of the tank and bowl.
  3. Inadequate flush: Even though the toilet uses a dual flush mechanism, some users have complained about the flush of the Convenient Height toilet. In improving the flush of the toilet, there are two things you can do;
    1. Correctly install the fill valve and calibrate it to allow more water in. This can be done by turning the adjusting screw of the fill valve clockwise.
    1. Proper calibration of the flush valve.

In conclusion

Convenient Height is a leading company in the toilet industry. The Massachusetts-based company makes lots of toilets, but this extra tall one is sure to attract the attention of a lot of its customers. Not only is it a comfortable toilet to use, but it also has a slow-close seat, an elongated design, and many other exciting features.

This model is a water-efficient toilet that you’ll want to have in your home. Trust us!

American Standard Champion 4 Review

Why choose American Standard?

American Standard is the brand that has been around since 2007. It came into being with the merger of Crane and Elijer Plumbing. The products from this brand are some of the most affordable options available on the market.

And to put the cherry on the top these high-quality affordable products are backed by the best warranty in the industry. You can’t simply ask for more!

Apart from their 1-piece and 2-piece designs, the brand is also well-known for its accessories such as replacement flushing systems and toilet seats.

One of the brand’s top draws is the American Standard Champion 4 max. The Champion 4 toilet is made of vitreous china and it features the brand’s signature EverClean surface.

American Standard has sleekness in its designs and doesn’t have those gaudy colors. It allows the company to simplify the production process and keeps the inventory down.

American Standard tests all its toilets before they leave the factory and they all come with a good solid 10-year warranty.

The American Standard Champion 4 in a nutshell

The American Standard Champion toilet features high-quality vitreous china material and EverClean surface. This surface prevents stains and bacteria from developing. It is also effective against mildew and mold. Due to its effectiveness, the surface contributes a lot in elongating its durability over time.

The toilet has a capacity of 1.6 gallons per flush and it boasts the Champion 4 flushing mechanism that features a 4-inch piston for high pressure. This piston has the ability to give flushes of high performance whenever you use the toilet.

With a rim height of 16.5-inch and an elongated bowl, when you fit it with a seat having an adequate height, your toilet will become ADA compliant.

The American Standard Champion 4 toilet has a single-piece design. Due to the EverClean technology, your toilet will not stain and it will not develop any bacteria or mold with time. It has a combination of a levered mechanism for flushing with elongated bowl and seat height. This means that anybody can use this toilet conveniently.

Flushing system

It is definitely one of the best flushing toilets and features a single flush. There is a non-adjustable 4-inch piston, which has the American Standard’s signature accelerator flush valve. This system can deliver 1.6 gallons of water in one flush. The 2.375-inch trapway allows smooth waste passage with a glazed finish. This flush system is tested for removing 2.2 lbs. waste with a single flush.

After going through many independent tests, the flushing system of this toilet has managed 1000 MaP and it is the best score for performance in the entire industry. American Standard placed a bucket full of golf balls right into the pan and flushed the toilet. The balls created no clogging and went down the trapway with ease.

Gravity-fed flushes are highly dependent on the trapway and the flush valve. The company has used patented technology. This system releases water in the bowl with a force 3 times the force of a regular 2-inch valve. With the piston action, the valve pushes and increases the speed of water with force.

With the help of PowerWash Rim, pressurized water flows through each section of the bowl and makes sure that everything goes down the drain. This toilet has the largest trapway in the industry and has a high-quality glaze on it to increase its durability and hygiene. With a large trapway, more waste can flow through and your toilet will never ever clog.

A high powered flushing system of this toilet works in tendon with the EverClean. Both these technologies make sure that the toilet flushes clean for the first time and you don’t need to flush again and again.

Water consumption

The American Standard toilets champion 4 can manage 1.6 gallons of water per flush and meets all the specifications set by the Federal toilet flushing standards. However, 1.6 GPF doesn’t comply the guidelines set by the Water Sense so it doesn’t qualify for any rebates.

Ease of installation

This toilet is designed for fitting in a minimum of 12-inch rough-in. As it is a single-piece toilet, therefore, it is a lot heavier than both individual parts of a double piece. Due to such weight, the toilet becomes very tough to position on a rough surface. Hence, you will need another person to assist you in this for sure.

However, the installation itself is no trouble at all. You just need to secure the toilet to the floor and link your water supply. Fit that seat and your toilet is ready to use.

  • A single flush will make sure that your toilet will be cleaned and you don’t need to do it one more time.
  • For preventing any development of stains, bacteria, mold or mildew, American Standard has used EverClean technology.
  • ADA compliance means that it will become suitable to use for most adults comfortably.
  • Its trapway is 2.375-inch in size and it is fully glazed to boost the flow of waste into the drain.
  • The toilet is 100% tested for performance before leaving the factory.
  • It also comes with a 10-year warranty from American Standard.

  • As it is a single-piece toilet, it is heavy and you will need assistance from another person to move it.
  • The Champion 4 toilet doesn’t meet the requirements set by EPA Water Sense. Hence, it is not eligible for any rebates.

After going through the review, you will notice that the American standard Champ toilet is an efficient one-piece toilet. It doesn’t require frequent maintenance due to the use of EverClean finish. It comes with a 1.6 GPF high-pressure flushing system. Therefore, you won’t have to flush the toilet for the second time. The waste will go down the first time around. Apart from that, the toilet is resistant to any type of stains. It will keep looking clean as long as it is in your bathroom. You won’t have to clean it frequently. All these advantages coupled with the ADA compliance mean that this is a highly recommended toilet for home and business environment.

Kohler Santa Rosa Review

Overall Description

The Kohler Santa Rosa is a one-piece toilet that integrates the tank and bowl into one design. Because the toilet sits opposite the door in small bathrooms, a regular elongated toilet can restrict the door’s swing. It’s a good thing the Kohler Santa Rosa has a compact bowl! This design affords you a lot of comfort, with space-conservation toppings! It aces this by reengineering the trapway so that it is closer to the wall, while still meeting the standard 12-inch size requirement.

Key Features

  1. Excellent Flushing System

It really doesn’t matter if a toilet looks nice, and it is very cheap. If it does not have a superb flushing system, then it’s no good. An AquaPiston canister allows water to flow into the bowl of the Kohler Santa Rosa from all sides, increasing the power and effectiveness of the flush. This doubles as an efficient cleaner, keeping the toilet bowl sparklingly white all the time. With a 3:2 ratio, the flush valve harnesses the natural force of gravity. It is the reason why the toilet has a high flush performance.

The Kohler Santa Rosa tank has a capacity of only 1.28 gallons. As opposed to the conventional 3.5-gallon volume of most toilets, you’ll save over 16,500 gallons in one year! The best part is you’ll get all of this without a decline in performance.

  • Comfortability

The Santa Rosa toilets feature chair-height seating. This makes sitting down and standing up easier for many adults.

The bowl also includes a soft close seat. The close seat has unique grip-tight bumpers that hold it firmly in place to prevent it from shifting. Asides functional features, the close seat boosts the aesthetics of your bathroom.

  • Ease of Cleaning

Cleaning a toilet is important, and no one likes a dirty one. The flushing system of Kohler Santa Rosa does an excellent job of getting the content of the bowl away, but sometimes, you’ll have tough stains to deal with. To help in the external cleaning of the toilet, Kohler has made this model to have rounded corners, which will prevent the growth of mildew and bacteria. You can use any regular toilet detergent to remove tough stains.

  • Warranty

When you buy this toilet from Kohler, you’ll have a 1-year warranty that covers the maintenance and repair of faulty parts. The company has a department that’ll respond to issues the moment you bring them forward. However, you’ll not have many problems using the Kohler Santa Rosa. It has had many users over the years because of how durable it is.

  • Ease of Installation

The toilet is easy to install, and it comes with an instruction manual that’ll help you out when fixing each part. It’s so easy that you can do it all yourself, without needing an extra hand. Nevertheless, you should get a plumber to fix the pipes that’ll be connected to your water supply system.

What we like about this product (Pros)

  1. Quiet flushing: The roaring noise of a toilet flush can be embarrassing, especially when you have visitors around. Luckily, you’ll not experience such with the Kohler Santa Rosa. Because of the small quantity of water it uses and its gravity system. The flush of this contemporary toilet is unbelievably quieter than most.
  2. All-in-one: Isn’t it amazing that you have all you need in one set? What other manufacturers put as many accessories in their toilet set as in the Kohler Santa Rosa. You don’t have to buy anything extra to have this toilet working.
  3. The toilet is ADA compliant, so it is suitable for people with disabilities.
  4. The toilet boasts an EPA WaterSense certification: This means that the Kohler Santa Rosa has been certified to meet the performance and efficiency criteria of EPA WaterSense.

What we don’t like about this product (Cons)

  1. The lid is a bit fragile, so you’ll have to be careful when using it. If you think you’ll break the lid or the seat, we advise that you get a thicker one.

How to install the Kohler Santa Rosa

Before you start the installation process of the new toilet, you should get your old toilet out of the way. The installation steps to follow are;

  1. Make sure the flange is ready to be used: The hole on the floor should be open. If you’ve had an old toilet in the position you intend to put the new one, then you don’t need to worry about this step because it should have been done already.
  2. Next, put the toilet bolts on the flange. They should slide into the holes that are created for them in it. After this process is completed, put the wax ring and make it slide down. The wax ring acts as a gasket between the flange and the toilet’s base.
  3. If you assessed the installation environment and see that the water supply line may be in a tight corner, this is the stage to have a new one fixed. Going on without solving this problem will create issues for you in the future.
  4. Next, put the one-piece Kohler Santa Rosa toilet in. The best way to have it installed is to keep it between your legs and carry it from the seat. Since it is asymmetric, lifting it from any other place can cause the toilet to fall. Make sure that it fits into the toilet bolts that you have previously put in place.
  5. When you have the toilet in place, and you are confident that it won’t rock, put the toilet bolt washer in. Watch out for the instruction that says ‘this way up.’ You’ll also need to put a nut. When securing the toilet with a plier, ensure that you don’t tighten it too much. This can cause the toilet to crack since you’ll be using a metal tool on a porcelain material.

We recommend that you don’t use a socket wrench to tighten the bolts. Unless you are skilled at knowing when to stop tightening, the chances of breaking the toilet bowl using this tool are very high.

  • Next, connect the water supply line to the tank. Since both the fitting and the pipe are made from plastic, you should only hand-tight the water supply to the tank. Using tools will likely cause a break in either material or a shift in the fill valve of the toilet.
  • Once the supply line is fixed, ensure that the toilet actually works by trying it out. Turn the water on to fill the tank and bowl. You’ll want to give it a couple of test runs before finishing the installation. Put a piece of toilet paper in, and watch it get flushed. If it doesn’t work well, then you’ll probably need a plumber to come have it checked out for you.
  • Next, put the tank lid on. The toilet seat should follow this. Don’t forget to put the dust cap on the bolts as well.
  • Finally, you can give the toilet another flush, just to be sure that everything is working as they should.

Cleaning the Kohler Santa Rosa

The tools you’ll need to clean the toilet are: rubber gloves, toilet cleaner, spray cleaner, paper towels, a brush, eye protection, nose, and face mask.

  1. First, remove everything that is around your new toilet. Cleaning can be a messy job, and there’s a good chance that toilet water or the splashing cleaner gets in your face. Also, don’t forget to remove the things on the top of the Kohler Santa Rosa tank’s cover to prevent them from dropping into the bowl while you clean it.
  2. The next step is to flush the toilet and add the cleaning detergent into the bowl. Make sure that the seat’s lid is down to prevent spraying or splashing. When applying the cleaner, ensure that it is as close to the rim as possible to prevent it from diluting.
  3. Use the time while you wait for the solution to soak the toilet’s bowl to clean the exterior of the toilet. Start off with the top, to avoid drippings while you work. Don’t forget to get to the handle and the edges of the tank as well. At this point, the ground will likely be dirty or filled with water, so give it a mop.
  4. Next, focus your attention on the toilet seat. As a part that is very easy to forget when cleaning the Kohler Santa Rosa, have it at the back of your mind to give it a good scrub before you begin cleaning. Wipe the hinges and the entire seat, then use a cloth to clean and remove traces of cleaning solutions from the seat’s surface.
  5. The next step is to clean the bowl. Again, begin scrubbing from the top down, and look under the rims to get grime and stains away. Don’t be afraid to stick the brush as far in the bowl as possible and get the drain hole clean.
  6. When you are done cleaning, use a paper towel to wipe all the parts of the toilet. You’ll also need to call a plumber once in a few months to have the tank cleaned to prevent rusting.

Warnings and cautions when cleaning the Kohler Santa Rosa

  1. Ensure that all safety measures are taken before you begin cleaning the toilet. The solutions you’ll be using can irritate parts of the body, so don’t risk not using safety equipment.
  2. Avoid using sponges when cleaning your new toilet. If you don’t have a brush, chances are that you’ll want to substitute it for a sponge. This is a bad idea because sponges provide a perfect environment for bacteria to breed. If you must use a sponge to clean the Kohler Santa Rosa, then ensure that they are completely sterilized first. Reusable cloths should also not be used to clean your new toilet unless you wash them thoroughly with bleach.
  3. Make sure that the type of cleaner you get works well with porcelain. The white body of the Kohler Santa Rosa is made from porcelain. So, products that contain chemicals that can damage the toilet should be avoided. It is best to stick with popular brands if you are not sure of the type of detergent or cleaning solution to use on the Kohler Santa Rosa.

In summary

Best Kohler Toilets Reviews (Best comfort height toilet 2020)

Though the majority of those shopping for toilets aren’t too concerned with their purchase, investing in the best toilet you can find will ensure that it actually lasts. Kohler, for starters, is one of the best brands out there, so we decided to review the best Kohler toilets in the market to help you decide which one is the best for you.

Choosing the Best Kohler Toilet for you

The porcelain throne doesn’t always have to be a “one size fits all” type of situation. For one, you will need to look at what size you need. Will it be going in the bathroom past your living room, or in your master bedroom?

Knowing which size you need and where it will be going is also very helpful when features need to be taken into consideration, as well. For example, a comfort height toilet is a tall toilet which is ideal for elderly, handicapped or simply tall people. Do you want one with bidet functionality to ensure that it’s very easy to clean, or are you looking for an original, flush-only, toilet?

The style of your bathroom matters in this case, too, should definitely be greatly considered. Gone are the days where toilets were a plain, solid white in color. You can now choose from solid and vibrant colors, even neon pink, so you’ll also need to think about the style and color scheme in the bathroom where your new toilet is going to go.

Overall, think about the features, the style, and any other aspects that you want in a new toilet during your browsing period. Happy shopping!

Kohler Cimarron Toilet Review

This two-piece toilet by Kohler comes in two different colors, white and almond, and is an absolute beauty. This Kohler Cimarron toilet review is great for those who are looking for a tall toilet that will not take up too much space, so it’s perfect for those with limited room in their bathroom.

Included Features and the Design

The Cimarron has a two-piece design to ensure that it can be easily installed in your home. You won’t find any bolt holes that require drilling, but instead, there is a single metal bracket that is at the bottom of the toilet’s tank. You even get a left-hand trip level for those who are left-handed, as well.

The AquaPiston flush engine technology ensures that you get a powerful flush every time. This is great for letting the water to freely flow into the bowl from all different sides for a powerful, plug-free, fast flush. No more double flushing!

The Cimarron is designed to be at the general height standard of an average chair, which is fantastic for those who have trouble standing up once sitting down, for example. This makes it a fantastic choice for those who have difficulties with their knees, especially.

All other features and design aspects aside, the money and water savings that come with this toilet has to be the biggest selling point. You will notice the WaterSense label right away, which means that this toilet follows the strict flushing guidelines set by the EPA.

This also means that this toilet uses approximately 20% less water when compared to 1.6-gallon toilets. The Cimarron comes with a 1.28-gallon flush that helps you to save up to 16,500 gallons of water each year compared to other toilets that are 3.5-gallon models. This ensures that you save both money and water without having to settle for a toilet that barely meets performance criteria.

Overall Size and Best Use

The Cimarron is taller when compared to other toilets that are more standard. The seat is not included, but its size is 14”x16.5”x2.5”. The toilet itself includes a rounded front for comfort and ease of use.

It’s a toilet of a smaller size, with the dimensions equaling to a rough weight of 94 pounds, dimensions equaling to 41.7”x35.8”x32.7” and a GPF size of 2-1/8” total. Because it’s a smaller toilet than most and comes with a rounded front, it’s great for smaller bathrooms, powder rooms, and bathrooms that have a narrower shape.

Kohler Persuade Toilet Review

This model has made it into our Kohler toilet review for multiple reasons, especially when you look at all of the included features you’ll be getting. This tall toilet by Kohler has a variety of important aspects that ensure it’s a great toilet for practically anyone! You can choose from white, almond, and biscuit where colors are concerned.

Included Features and the Design

The Persuade by Kohler is a very simple and yet somewhat extensive toilet. For certain municipalities you are able to get your hands on a consumer rebate system for the Persuade, thanks to it qualifying as a High-Efficient Toilet, or “HET” for short.

The Persuade is involved with the WaterSense program, which means that it follows the incredibly strict flushing performance and overall operation guidelines that have been set by the Environmental Protection Agency or “EPA”. This ensures that, like the Cimarron, you will save on both money and water usage.

When compared to an older 3.5-gallon toilet, you can save up to 16,500 gallons each year. This is, again, very similar, if not identical, to the Cimarron, because you are also getting a toilet that does not sacrifice power and performance for the sake of saving water. You still get the best of both worlds!

Like the Cimarron model, the Persuade also comes with the Comfort Heigh feature. This ensures that standing up and sitting down will be much easier on your back and your knees.

What’s more, you can even choose between a full or a partial flush, thanks to the dual-flush technology. This may be one of the best features offered by this Kohler toilet.

The Persuade comes with a skirted trap that is perfect for cleaning without spending an hour doing so. The skirted trap collects and traps debris, is incredibly easy to clean, and ensures that you won’t miss a single area that needs a good clean.

If you are a member of the LEED Green Building Rating System, the Persuade can help you to earn Water Efficiency points. This is great news for landlords and ladies who are looking to make the switch to a more greener option for their tenants.

Overall Size and Best Use

The Persuade has an elongated shape to it, is a two-piece toilet, and comes with a curve for comfort. It’s overall size dimensions are 28.5”x14.3”x32”, a GPF of 1.6 and has a rough-in of approximately 12”.

Though it looks like it will be a very heavy toilet because of the elongated shape, it’s actually very lightweight in size. In fact, it only weighs 3.2 ounces based on the listed weight and size.

Overall, the Persuade by Kohler is a fantastic choice for those who want an elongated look, have some extra space that can be filled, and is perfect for those who want a sleek, large toilet for a master or large bathroom. Persuade toilet is a comfort height toilet and it is ideal for tall or elderly people.

Kohler Memoirs Toilet Review

For those who want a comfortable, quality Kohler toilet that comes in an abundance of colors, this one is definitely for you. You can choose from white, almond, biscuit, black, dune, ice gray and sandbar.

Included Features and the Design

The Memoirs comes with Class Five Flushing Technology, which is practically the best technology of this type you could ever hope to get. It’s designed for bulk-flushing capability to ensure that the flush valve is large enough for rapid release. It combines a direct-fed jet and the water to keep the bowl perfectly clean every time.

The canister flush requires a very light touch to initiate flushing, whereas other toilets require some force to do so. The single-flush gravity feature works well with the existing flush technology gives strong siphoning power, while the AquaPiston feature flows water into every side of the bowl for added effectiveness.

It also comes with a left-hand trip lever for those who are left-handed, too. The elongated bowl gives you added comfort and room, which are great for those who like to have some additional leg room.

Compared to other toilets, regardless of the brand or model, the Memoirs comes with a canister design that is extremely durable and is 90% less exposed where seal material is concerned. This ensures that the design is both leak-free and that it will last a lot longer than any other on the market, even though it’s exposed to a minor amount of tank water.

You can choose from two different designs, as well. The Classic style resembles crown molding, while the Stately style has a more rounded detail look to it. This ensures that there is a style, not to mention a color from the multiple ones available, that will match all types of bathrooms. Both models are tall toilets with their comfort height feature.

Overall Size and Best Use

The Memoirs by Kohler weighs 86 pounds, has the size dimensions of 31”x28”x17”, is a standard rough 12”, and includes a GPF of 1.6. The comfort feature and elongated shape are perfect for those who, as previously stated, desire some added leg room in the bathroom. It’s made our best Kohler toilet review for being a great option for those who want a larger toilet for a larger bathroom.

Kohler Devonshire Review

The Kohler Devonshire toilet review has been included because of the many existing benefits and features offered with this model. Although, you will notice quite a few similarities from another best Kohler toilet we earlier reviewed. You can choose from white, almond, biscuit, black, dune, ice gray and sandbar for colors. The diversity ensures that there is a color for every style and bathroom color scheme.

Included Features and the Design

Like many other Kohler toilets, this one also comes with the Class Five Flushing Technology for the cleanest bowl you could hope for. The Comfort Height feature, like the others, is also included for the benefit of being able to sit and stand with ease.

The design includes a rounded basin for gentleness and a more quiet echo, while the elongated aspects of it give it more a curved, elegant shape. Like the others, the features also include the HET capability, the EPA’s WaterSense program, and the same canister flush valve.

Overall, the features and the design of the Devonshire are very similar to other models. However, one thing is for sure, this model is much more elegant than any other model from Kohler.

Niagara Stealth Toilet Review

Although over 70% of the earth’s surface is covered by water, only a very small percentage of that water is the fresh water that you use in your everyday life. Because of that fact and rising water bills you may be looking for ways to conserve water. One of the best ways to do that is to buy a toilet that does not use as much water when it flushes. So, if you’re looking for a silent and high efficient toilet, keep reading our Niagara Toilet Review.

The high efficiency flushing technology this toilet uses is not the only good thing about it either. It’s a very innovative toilet overall. Let’s take a closer look at it.

  • Gallons Per Flush: 0.8
  • Hygienic Surface Treatment: 0

List of important features of Niagara Stealth Toilet

  • Conserves Water

It only takes the Niagara Stealth toilet a very low 0.8 gallons per flush. That is among the lowest amount of gallons per flush you will ever see from any toilet. In a normal household that will add up to hundreds of gallons of water being saved each year. You will help protect a precious resource and save money on your water bill at the same time.

  • Pressure Assisted Flush

One of the problems with most water conserving toilets is that they do not always flush the bowl clean. This is especially true when there is fecal matter in the toilet bowl. That is not a problem with the Niagara Stealth toilet because its flush is pressure assisted. With the design of this toilet the water is jettisoned into the bowl with a much greater force than normal toilets.

  • Certified High Efficiency

A toilet has to pass a test before it can be certified as a true high efficiency toilet (HET). The Niagara Stealth toilet when tested dispersed almost twice the required amount of miso paste that it requires to be a HET certified toilet. That means it has a very effective flush the first time and should not require a second flushing. This well-designed toilet is actually classified as an ‘ultra-high efficiency’ toilet because of how well it flushes.

  • Made From Vitreous China

This is one of the most durable materials that a toilet can be made from. The last thing you want is to have problems with your toilet developing cracks or chipping easily over time. This toilet will hold up well as you install it and also last you well into the future. Vitreous china is also a very good looking toilet material that will keep its milky sheen the entire time it’s in your bathroom.

  • Elongated bowl design

It is this creative bowl design that enables the toilet to flush properly even with a reduced amount of water. The extended bowl measures 8 inches in diameter, 14 inches in width and 18 ½ inches in length. These are very unusual dimensions for a toilet bowl.

  • Dual Flush technology

The Niagara Stealth toilet has not one but two distinct flush settings. You can save even more water when you push the button only far enough to activate the ½ flush mode. This is made possible by the fact this toilet has innovative dual flushing channels.

Niagara Stealth Toilet FAQs

Question: Does the Niagara Stealth toilet come with everything you need for installation?

Answer: the answer to this question is no. There are a few extra things you need   to install it and get it working. Some you would expect and yet others you would expect to be included.

For one it does not include the wax seal that goes between the bottom of the bowl and the toilet drain. There is also no toilet seat included and this is done intentionally so you can select the toilet seat of your choice. One of the things we were surprised did not come with it is the bolts that hold the toilet in place on the floor.

Question: How is the toilet bowl water depth? Is it different than most normal flushing toilets since it is a water saving toilet?

Answer: The way the elongated bowl is designed the water level appears to be very similar to that of a regular flushing toilet. It is the volume of water that is flushed that is the difference in a high efficiency toilet and it has nothing to do with the water level in the bowl.

Question: What is the height of this toilet from the seat to the floor? I am not a tall person and I wonder if it can be installed in my young children’s bathrooms too.

Answer: Most toilets are an industry standard 17 inches from the seat to the floor and the Niagara Stealth toilet is no different. The only other factor in that distance would be the height of the toilet seat you add to it. If you don’t add a thick padded toilet seat it should not affect that height much at all.

Question: Since this toilet is a unique design does that mean it is harder to install than a standard toilet

Answer: No this toilet is not any harder to install. It installs just like any other toilet and also uses the same 12 inch rough in for the drain. Many people are under the perception that since it has a pressurized flush it needs an extra water hook up or something but that is not the case.

Our final thoughts on the Niagara toilet

We really liked the overall design of this toilet and the way it flushes. It was really hard not be impressed with the way it both looks and works. It certainly is a very creative and innovative design as far as toilets are concerned. It seems to be a toilet that will pay for itself over the years in the money you will save on your water bill too. This toilet will also add to the looks of any bathroom environment that it is placed in. It was hard for us to imagine anyone who would be disappointed with the Niagara Stealth toilet after purchasing it.
